Digital X-Rays
X-ray technology is an important diagnostic tool for any great dentist. And in the days of digital dentistry, capturing X-rays is now easier and safer than ever. We use Gendex/Dexis digital X-ray sensors along with NOMAD™ handhelds that are ready instantly and also expose you to less radiation in the process.
Intraoral Cameras
Dentists and hygienists need those little handheld mirrors to better see what’s going on inside your mouth — but when it comes time to explain an issue we’ve spotted, those mirrors can only help so much. Our intraoral camera provides a much better look at your teeth and gums, allowing us to show you in full detail just what is going on with your dental health. It’s a handheld tool that can project a crystal clear image right at your chairside.
Soft-Tissue Laser
A gummy smile or uneven gum line can be treated with gum recontouring that is made easy with the Precise LTM. It is a soft tissue laser that allows Dr. Patel to precisely remove any excess tissue, sculpting your gum line without the need for a scalpel or stitches. Bleeding is minimized and the recovery is much quicker compared to traditional gum procedures — a win-win solution for both you and Dr. Patel!
Cavity Detection System
Early detection is crucial for providing conservative dentistry. Catching a cavity in the beginning phases can actually help us reverse the issue and avoid the need for a filling altogether. The CariVu caries detection device makes lesions or weak spots in the tooth enamel visible way before they could be found with an X-ray or the naked eye using infrared technology. This helps us know where the problem spots are and then provide the early treatment you need and is even safe for pregnant patients.
