This collection of lovable goofballs and weirdos is our fantastic dental team! Their friendly personalities, extensive training, and years of experience will ensure that all of your appointments are well-organized, quick, and dare we say, FUN.
Each staff member has dental assistant training, meaning that they can treat you with confidence during every step of the process. Between the team, they'll find the answer to any of your dental questions.
The team will always go out of their way to make sure every member of your family feels right at home at every visit. Read on below to say “hello!” to some of the friendly faces you’ll meet here at Summit Family Dentistry.
Morgan, Practice Manager
Morgan has been working in dentistry for several years now, joining our team in late 2018. Morgan studied dental assisting at Great Lakes Institute of Technology, and she has training in radiology, infection control, CPR and HIPPA policies. Morgan most enjoys educating people and helping them gain their confidence back and overcome their fear of dentistry.
Originally from Union City, her and her family recently moved to Corry! Morgan’s family consist of her husband Roger, her son Carson, and her pup Charlee. Outside of work Morgan enjoys anything outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and adventures with her little family.
Danyele Litz, Patient Care Coordinator
Danyele is originally from Waterford! For more than three years now, she has enjoyed coming into work each day because it means she gets to meet new patients and build relationships with existing ones. Over the last 5+ years, she has undergone training in CPR, HIPPA, infection control, and radiology.
With her high school sweetheart, Ray, Danyele is raising two children, Ray III and Marissa. However, they are also a foster family and have four pets! She loves traveling, camping, kayaking, and shopping in her free time. One thing you may not know about her is that she comes from a large family. In fact, she’s one of six girls.
Laurie, Registered Dental Hygienist
Laurie joined our team in 2022, bringing an impressive 24 years of experience in the dental field with her! Previously, she attended Edinboro University and Erie Community College. Currently, she is certified in X-rays, CPR/AED, and HIPPA & OSHA. Her favorite part of her job hands down is getting to know each patient and helping them feel comfortable with their dental visit. Educating them on how to properly care for their smile is very rewarding for her!
Laurie and her high school sweetheart have been married for 20 years now, and they have three beautiful children together (and a little Yorkie mix!). Some of her favorite things to do outside the office are cheer on her kids during their sports and activities, cook, entertain for the holidays, and travel. Here’s something you may not know about her: every February she travels to various schools to teach lessons on proper dental care for Dental Health Month.
Amanda, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Before joining our team, Amanda studied at Tri-State Business Institute as well as the Greater Altoona Career and Technology Center. Now, she has nearly two decades of experience, is certified through The Scheduling Institute, is a member of the American Red Cross, and has assisted in cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery, and dental implants (a few of her many accomplishments). When asked what she loves most about being a dental assistant, she shared that it’s being of service to others!
Amanda is a mother of two wonderful sons and a wife. When she isn’t at the office or spending time with her family, you’ll probably find her working on her holistic self-care business, completing her studies at Ayurveda Wellness, reading, or listening to podcasts. Here’s a fun fact about her: she swam with manatees!
Joann, Dental Assistant
Joann joined our team with well over a decade of experience in the dental field. Currently, she is certified in X-rays and CPR, and she has completed additional training in HIPAA policies. Of course, her favorite part of her job continues to be working with a great staff and friendly patients!
Joann’s hometown is Edinboro, PA, and she has a husband, twin boys, and a dog at home. As for interests outside of dentistry, she likes working out, hunting, traveling, shopping, and playing sports with her kids!
